These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Mwalimu SACCO mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Mwalimu SACCO provides a mobile application and backend platform for members of the savings and credit cooperative (SACCO). The Service enables:
You must be at least 18 years old and meet the SACCO's membership criteria to use the Service. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access. We recommend enabling PIN lock or biometric authentication in the app settings.
Payments are processed through third-party providers (e.g., Selcom). You agree to pay all fees, charges, and amounts due. Refunds are subject to our policies and SACCO regulations. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by payment providers.
Loan approvals are subject to eligibility criteria, guarantor requirements, and SACCO policies. Interest rates, terms, and conditions are set by the SACCO. You agree to repay loans according to the agreed schedule. Late payments may incur penalties as per SACCO policy.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mwalimu SACCO and its providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our liability is limited to the amount of fees you have paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We strive to maintain availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or modify the Service for maintenance, updates, or other reasons.
We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms or for other reasons as per SACCO policy. You may close your account by contacting us. Outstanding obligations (e.g., loan repayments) remain due after termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tanzania.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email.
